Bellerose residents hoping to add some extra fun to the upcoming fall season will be able to do so when they attend a local fundraiser.

Rescuing Families provides grassroots level support to the community, and it will be the recipient of the funds raised through an evening of bingo. Both cash and other prizes will be up for grabs, and in keeping with the spooky season, everyone is welcome to wear a costume.

The event will offer five games, and the jackpot will be $500. Players can help themselves to dinner at the buffet, followed by dessert. A selection of beverages will be on offer, including beer and wine, and prizes will be presented to the top costume in several categories. Tickets for the function are $35 each, and groups of eight or more will be offered a special discount.

While ticketholders for the event enjoy themselves, they will be supporting a project that ensures that Long Island residents with disabilities are able to access home repairs.
