Bellerose families that would like to learn more about the services and recreational options open to them are on the guestlist for an activity coming up at a local venue.
The Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens announced that it has scheduled its Kids Discovery Expo for mid-August, and admission will be free of charge. As well as information about recreational programming, it will provide the attendees with details about a variety of afterschool care choices.
The businesses and organizations that take part in the day will have representatives on site. Families can meet them face to face and discuss their needs, with community participation expected. Programs ranging from dancing to swimming, sports, arts and crafts, and dance will all be in the mix, and live performances will take place as well. The activity will be running for four hours, and those who are interested can drop in at any time.
Community resource fairs and expos provide a way for residents to learn more about what is on offer for them, all under one roof. Brochure printing and other marketing services for a function can be sourced from local Print shops.
The Kids Discover Expo will be popping up at the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens on Saturday, August 17. Its doors will open at 12:00 noon.
