What's Happening in Bellerose, NY…

This summer, Bellerose kids are invited to enjoy spending time outdoors when they participate in day camp on offer at a local botanic garden.

The crew at Queens Botanical Garden have set the schedule for its Summer Children’s Garden Series, which will give kids the chance to get their hands dirty. They are drop-off sessions, and each will run through the day with each session having its own theme.

The first installment of the camp will use science to study the plants and animals found in the garden, while the second will explore plant-based cuisine and other products from all over the world. Session three will introduce the campers to some urban wildlife, and the series will wrap up with a week that connects artistry with nature. Both two- and one-week registration options are available, and there may be extended hours as well if needed. This will be provided at an additional cost.
