What's Happening in Bellerose, NY…

The Haunting in Hollis event is scheduled to take place at the Haunted House in Queens Village, near Bellerose, later this month.

Halloween lovers can put their confidence to the test when they participate in Haunting in Hollins at the House of Hollins. In this scary house, guests will have the chance to meet goblins and ghouls.

As participants advance through the terrifying maze, ghostly encounters with zombies ensue, and people need to either proceed to an experimental lab or say the code word "Peanut Butter."

The haunted house experience is created by a group of imaginative and creative individuals, and is the sort of event that often uses poster and banner printing to drum up publicity in the area

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event planners have put measures in place to limit transmissions. Apart from issuing a limited number of tickets, guests must wear face masks at all times and practice social distancing. The event staff will include a Mandatory Station equipped with hand sanitizers and infra-red, non-contact thermometers.

Once they have completed the maze, or given up and said the safe word, Guests can get a digital copy of footage of their voyage to review how they got on.

The event will be taking place from October 24 to November 2, and places can be booked via Eventbrite.
