Bellerose area has Halloween options

Little Bellerose ghosts and goblins will have a range of Halloween options this year.

One for little ones and their families will be Halloween Family Fun Day. There will be a costume contest, pumpkin decorating, a Trunk or Treat, and Fear Manor Haunted House. A live DJ will be spinning platters and vendors will be hawking Halloween–themed treats, costumes and other paraphernalia. There will also be raffle prizes along with the 50/50 raffle. Refreshments will be available.

There will be no need to wear masks as there will be face painting. A photo booth will be available to get pictures of the artistry. When people receive really good face paintings, many want to remember them by taking photo booth pictures to nearby Print shops to get plenty of Copies to send to family and friends.

Although admission will be free, some of the activities will cost a minimal amount.

Halloween Family Fun Day will be at the Shops at Atlas Park, 8000 Cooper Avenue, Queens on Saturday, October 12 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.

A Halloween Festival is being planned for Juniper Valley Park, at 80th Street and Juniper Boulevard South also in Queens. Guests will be able to choose their own free pumpkins, get their faces painted, make a few arts and crafts, and join in field games.

Bellerose kids can enjoy inflatables, live animals, pumpkin decorations and Halloween-themed activities. This Halloween Festival will be October 19 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
