Each year, a Bellerose area event celebrates the area's aboriginal American heritage, and this event is scheduled to return to the community later in the month.
The Thunderbird American Indian Powwow will be a three-day festival of food, dance, music, and other activities, and at least 40 different Indian nations will be taking part. As the number of tickets will be limited, anyone who would like to attend the celebration is advised to reserve their tickets early so they don’t miss out on all the fun.
The schedule for the three days will be filled with performances, dance competitions and other fun, and there will be food available for purchase. Attendees will be invited to browse and buy at the craft displays.

The 2021 Thunderbird American Indian Powwow is scheduled to begin on Friday, July 23 and wrap up on July 25. It will be hosted at the Queens County Farm Museum, which is located at 73-50 Little Neck Parkway. Tickets start at $15 for adults, and $8 for kids from ages two to twelve.
