Albuquerques zoo celebrates Halloween
The zoo will this year continue its tradition of holding a Halloween celebration. This year will mark the 31st annual Halloween celebration at Albuquerque’s zoo.
This event is designed to be family-friendly, and will likely not be scary or overly dramatic. Appropriately, it features both tricks and treats.
The ABQ BioPark Zoo opened in 1927, and covers approximately 64 acres of land, featuring both native animals and exotic. As with many zoos, this one works towards education goals, and has talks and daily activities free with zoo admission.
This event requires a ticket, which may be available on the day. Tickets are $10 per adult or $2 per child ages 3 to 12. This is a daytime event, and will start at 9:00 am and end at about 3:00 pm.
This year’s event is slightly different to previous years. The park has said it has improved the experience, as well as making this event a fundraiser. All of the profits will go straight back to the BioPark, helping to maintain all the exhibits.
Parking is available on-site in the zoo lot, although there may be a parking fee, so attendees should be aware of this. This type of event often uses flyer printing in order to send out mailers to members and past visitors.
This seasonal celebration at the zoo will be held on Saturday, October 26.
