Albuquerque scares up Halloween Zoo event

Boo at the Zoo is returning to Albuquerque’s ABQ BioPark Zoo this fall.

Just in time for Halloween, this family-friendly event encourages participants to enjoy the zoo in full costume, and children are encouraged to bring their containers for candy collection.

Treat-or-treating is just the tip of the iceberg for the event, in which families roam among the wild animals and enjoy food and drinks, among other activities. There will also be crafts, games and educational activities for children.

The event is presented by After Hours Pediatrics, with the Boo at the Zoo festivities also serving as a New Mexico BioPark Society fundraiser supports the zoo.

Families equipped with candy buckets can experience a Trick-or-Treat Trail, taking them along a lineup of vendor booths ready to distribute treats to children. There will also be special Haunted Habitats, in which select exhibits will take on a spooky theme with papier-mâché monsters instead of animals. There will also be some of pop culture’s most recognizable characters roaming the park, including those from Star Wars, among others, ready to take a photo with participants.

Zoo events like this may choose to use Logo Design services for promotion on websites, social media and printed Flyers or Posters.

The Boo at the Zoo event is happening on October 25 from 9 am to 5 pm at the ABQ BioPark Zoo at 903 10th St. SW in Albuquerque. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children 3-12, with children 2 and under free.
