River of Lights awaits in Albuquerque

This fall, the Albuquerque BioPark will be hosting its annual River of Lights. This will be open to the public for about a month, and will have other activities and events associated with it.

Since 1997, the BioPark has been holding the River of Lights as a fundraiser for its projects, and that continues to be the case this season. One of its main projects is supporting conservation both at home and across the globe.

Tickets will be available soon for preorder, or day-of tickets can be purchased from any BioPark cashier from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Adult tickets (anyone 13 or older) are $12, children (3 to 12) are $6, and anyone under the age of three can attend free of charge. There are a limited number of wheelchairs available for those who need them, available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a rental fee of $7.

Parking is free at the BioPark, and the event will be held in the botanic garden section. General admission does not include admission to the River of Lights.

Events like this often use banner printing to help advertise. Banners could help visitors know that there is an upcoming special event, if they don’t already, and are usually visible from farther away.

The River of Lights will start on November 24, from 6:00 to 9:30 pm, and will be available for viewing for the rest of the holiday season.
