John Mulaney is bringing his Mister Whatever tour to Albuquerque’s Kiva Auditorium this June.
Mulaney is an Emmy-winning comedian, writer of Saturday Night Live and voice actor for Spider-Ham in the Oscar-winning film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
With his dry, yet animated delivery, Mulaney has captured audiences with his stand-up specials on Netflix, including New in Town and Kid Gorgeous. Mulaney also forayed into the realm of in-character performance art with co-star Nick Kroll in the Broadway-turned-Netflix show Oh, Hello.
His most recent stand-up special, 2023’s Baby J, won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing For A Variety Special. It also earned the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Comedy Special and was nominated for other Emmy Awards.
John Mulaney and The Sack Lunch Brunch (2019) saw the comedian branching off into musical variety. Designed as a satirical children’s special, it incorporates both sketch comedy and musical numbers with special guests, including David Byrne, as a team of kids investigates existential topics. Praised by critics, it received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Variety Special.
