Albuquerque hosts expo about all things weird

The Albuquerque Oddities and Curiosities Expo 2026 is coming to EXPO New Mexico in Albuquerque this March.

As the world’s largest expo dedicated to showcasing oddities, the event features small businesses, art dealers, and vendors whose specialties range from the awe-inspiring to the creepy.

Halloween and horror artwork, taxidermy, handcrafted jewelry, antiques, unusual medical tools, and funeral items will be among the oddments featured in the showcase. From skulls and bones to preserved creatures and creepy clothing, all of the items in the show are legal to own and sourced through sustainable means.

In addition to vendor tables, there will also be sideshow performers taking their act on a stage at the expo throughout the day. In addition, taxidermy classes are available for those who wish to learn the craft.

With an emphasis on all things DIY, the expo is a safe space for people to meet new friends who share a unique interest and discover new artists. It is one of the first traveling showcases of oddities ever established that remains in operation to this day.

Children 12 and under are free and do not require tickets, while general entry prices start as low as $17. Expos like this may choose to use banner printing to create Signs for vendors, activity areas, and entryways.

The Albuquerque Oddities and Curiosities Expo 2026 is happening on the March 7 to 8 weekend, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. The venue is at 300 San Pedro Dr NE, Manuel Lujan Building in Albuquerque.
