The Outdoor Art Workshop: Collaborative Printmaking is scheduled to be held in Albuquerque near the beginning of next month.
The host of this printmaking class is 516 Arts, an art museum that was originally founded in 2006. The organization arranges in-person and online art exhibits, tours performances, public programs, projects, classes and activities for youths, and educational workshops such as the Collaborative Printmaking class.
This outdoor event will be led by instructor Neal Ambrose-Smith. Students of the Albuquerque workshop will learn printmaking and chine collé techniques for the duration of the event. Each participant will have the chance to add to a Print scroll measuring 60 feet long. When the workshop wraps up, students will be able to bring a section of the scroll home with them. Poster printing is a common method chosen by many event organizers to advertise local events throughout the community with colorful, informative printouts.
In order to sign up for the Outdoor Art Workshop: Collaborative Printmaking event, anyone who is interested can purchase admission online at $60 per individual. Members of 516 Arts can register for $50 per individual. Boxed lunches for each participant will be included in the registration costs.
This outside printmaking workshop is set to take place at Farm & Table on Saturday, May 8 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
