The city of Albuquerque is set to play host to the production of a new movie that will feature some well-known Hollywood stars.
The city’s mayor, Richard S. Berry, remarked that he is very pleased to welcome the film’s production to the city, and that he hopes that it brings an economic boost to the area. He also noted that the city is “open for business” and hopes that that other production companies will also choose the community for their next projects.
The New Mexico Film Office reported that the principal photography is scheduled to span February and March, and it is expected that it will provide employment as crew members for at least 90 people from the area, as well as 12 local actors and 60 spaces for background talent.
Named ‘Hellbent’, the film will tell the tale of a runaway who crosses the country to meet the father she has never known. One of the stars of the picture will be Isabelle Fuhrman, who starred in ‘The Hunger Games’. The movie will also feature Kimberly Elise, Martin Henderson, Max Martini, and several other well-known actors and actresses.
