Disney film headlines free family movie night in Albuquerque
A Disney movie about making dreams come true will have a free screening for families at the South Broadway Branch Library in Albuquerque.
The 2023 animated movie Wish is set in a magical kingdom and centers on a young girl with big aspirations. When she wishes on a star, the heavenly body comes down to her from the sky. However, she is overwhelmed by what comes next as the twinkling star has a mischievous side.
Wish is co-directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn. The film is co-written by Buck, Jennifer Lee, and Allison Moore. Its voice cast includes Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose as Asha, as well as roles from Chris Pine, Alan Tudyk, and Angelique Cabaral as Amaya.
The musical fantasy Wish is rated PG for mild action and thematic elements. Movie screenings like these may need poster printing and flyer printing to get the word out about them.
The South Broadway Library is located in the same building as the Broadway Cultural Center, at 1025 Broadway SE in Albuquerque.
