Somerville will host a special dining event in December where people can try several local eateries.
Somerville Season’s Eatings is a festive activity that invites people to indulge in holiday-themed bites at four different restaurants in the community. The participating venues for this year’s event will include Project Pub, Tapastre, Cafe Picasso, and Fresh Tiki. Those who participate in the food tour will receive a complimentary gift bag with goodies from Somerville businesses. Attendees will also receive take-home treats and festival Apparel like Santa hats.
The event is organized by Beyond The Plate, which is a company that was created by Alessia Aron. She went to school at Rutgers University for journalism and was a saleswoman at Hale and Hearty Soups and Yelp Inc. Her company offers many types of events, such as corporate food tours and private culinary experiences. Beyond The Plate also hosts Jersey City Food Walking Tours that share noteworthy restaurants in the community with participants.
The food tour in Somerville will be held on December 21st and December 28th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Tickets to attend the event will cost $120 per person, and all guests must be 21 or older.
