The city of Somerville is hosting an event in mid May to put a spotlight on local storefronts and eateries.
Girls Night Out is a social event where ladies can get together and check out the downtown scene while enjoying a theme inspired by country music and the vibes of Nashville, brought up the east coast.
A number of Somerville’s shops and restaurants will have special deals and products available for purchase as a part of the experience. Some of these offerings will be tailored to the gathering’s theme as well. Special dishes and drinks inspired by Southern cuisine will be among these.
Tickets are sold via Eventeny at a cost of $25. The site will also add a fee for processing of $1.90. A link to access the page is available on the city’s downtown area website. These passes will not be refundable or transferable.
Those who buy tickets to the event will get an included bag of Promotional Products and offers for some of the businesses taking part in the event.
The Fix will play some country music as live entertainment and a backdrop to some line dancing instruction. A mechanical bull will also be set up for participants to take a spin on. The event will take place throughout Downtown Somerville. The date is May 15th. Activities will run between 5:00pm and 9:00pm.
