This April, HomeSharing, Inc. is presenting ‘Just the Three of Us’ in Somerville. The evening is a concert of three jazz musicians and the option for dinner out before or after the show.
The performance itself features a trio of the top jazz players in New Jersey. Rio Clemente, affectionately known as the Bishop of Jazz, plays piano and has performed with his band - the Abbotts - in venues such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Carrie Jackson is a jazz vocalist and native Newarker who has performed alongside groups such as the Duke Anderson Orchestra. She now owns her own record label. Marty Eigen is a sax player and president of the Beacon Hill Musician’s guild.
After the show, attendees can take advantage of a special offer; concertgoers who make a reservation at Cafe Picasso, Verve, or Savor can show their ticket for an extra 15% off the bill. HomeSharing, Inc. is still looking for other restaurants who want to help sponsor the event. A sponsorship includes a copy of the restaurant’s logo on Flyers.
Just the Three of Us will take place on April 1 starting at 8:00 pm at the United Reform Church located at 100 W. Main St. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance online. Anyone interested in more information should visit the website.
