Somerville funeral home to organize family activity

The Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville will be hosting a Halloween-themed event for all ages.

Cusick's Halloween Bash is an annual festival where families in the community can partake in Halloween-related activities in a safe environment. There will be a Trunk or Treat event where people may decorate their cars and give out goodies to children. The venue will have a station for making s'mores, and guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and soft drinks. Those who can legally drink can visit the cash bar. Attendees can participate in contests for the best trunk and best costume.

The Cusick Funeral Home is a business that has served the community since 1950. The company was originally owned by Joseph and James Cusick until the brothers transferred the funeral home to Lauren Bowser and Helen Delpopolo. Bowser is a graduate of Mercer County Community College's Funeral Service Program, and Delpopolo is a member of State Mortuary Service, Inc. The company has hosted multiple community events, like Cusick's Charity Cornhole Tournament & Party.

The Halloween party will be held on Saturday, October 28 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Tickets to the festival will cost $10 for adults, and children may enter the funeral home's event for free. Businesses that host yearly community activities like this may utilize poster printing to share these parties with locals.
