New year, new job at Somerville fair

The Bridgewater Job Fair is scheduled for an upcoming event which provides the opportunity for job seekers to meet potential employers in person.

The job fair will be held near Somerville so interested candidates from across the region are welcome to participate. The job fair is hosted by Career Showcase.

Career Showcase is a recruiting agency with 20 years of experience in the industry, specializing in consultative recruitment. The Career Showcase will bring back the “in-person” job fair format that allows personal connection during the interviewing and hiring process. The activity will allow candidates to meet with several potential employers on the same day in one location.

Local Print shops are available to assist with resumé preparation, and no doubt many locals will be placing a business card printing order in time for the event.

The job fair is free and open to all experience levels. Participants are encouraged to bring at least 15 resumé Copies, dress appropriately, and wear a face mask. Hiring managers will have the chance to offer a brief introduction of their companies and describe the available positions. Candidates may apply for as many as they prefer and interview accordingly. They also can network with other people attending.

The event will be held at the Bridgewater Marriott on February 25 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. The venue is located at 700 Commons Way 199 Smith Rd.
