New county healthcare facility opens in Somerville

The Somerset County Partnership Health Center recently opened in Somerville on East Main Street.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held by officials from Integrity Health and the Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders. The new facility will serve employees of Somerset County, the library system and the Park Commission of the County, and the vocational-technical school and their retirees and dependents, and will be an on-site health, wellness, and care coordination center.

Patrick Scaglione, director of the Somerset County Freeholders, commented that this new facility will have a great impact on the people who live in this community for many years in the future. It will help to control the cost of healthcare and help to bring quality care on a long-term basis to its employees, he added.

The new facility will have lab services, primary care physicians, and a pharmacy. There will be no co-payments for any services.

Mark Caliguire, a Somerset County Freeholder, added that this is a very innovative facility for county government. The goal is that employees will be provided high-quality healthcare in an efficient and effective manner. Caliguire added that working with Integrity Health has made this goal possible.

Poster printing companies can help make sure that county employees are made aware of such new and state-of-the-art facilities, and the various services that are offered.
