This winter, children can put on their dancing shoes. The Somerville Public Library is hosting a class for beginning dancers called ‘Something New with Gotta Dance.’
Children aged four through seven who have not had formal dance instruction are invited to attend.
Gotta Dance is presenting the class. The performing arts studio is an establishment that aims to develop young dancers. The studio offers jazz, ballet, hip hop, and many other types of classes for all ages. Both a teacher and a student from the establishment will put on a short performance and provide dance instruction for the kids.
Space is limited and individuals are encouraged to register early on the library’s website. To get the word out, the event organizers may have utilized a Print company to create promotional materials. Flyers could easily be placed near the library’s entrance for people to take.
Along with the dance instruction session, the library also has story times, crafts, teen events, and educational workshops. Individuals can borrow eBooks and audiobooks online or peruse the digital database. The library also provides home delivery to homebound students or those who recently had surgery.
The fun takes place on January 24 from 2:00 to 2:30 pm in the children’s room. In the event of snow, the date will be moved to January 31. The Somerville Public Library is located on 35 West End Avenue.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Flyers
