Somerville, along with three neighboring towns, will host The 2021 Central Jersey Jazz Festival.
The Downtown Somerville Alliance and Arts On Division will produce and host the festival. Sheila E. Anderson is also a leader in the event. She is an author and a radio personality at WNGO Jazz 88.3 FM.
The jazz festival is open to the public and is free to attend. It will occur from September 10-12 with the first day taking place in Flemington on Friday. On Saturday, the jazz festival will move to New Brunswick as well as Metuchen. Somerville hosts the festival on Sunday from 1:30-6:00 p.m.
The organizers are in the process of booking the musicians. Sponsors include Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, RW Barnabas Health, Downtown Somerville Alliance, Regal Bank, Soma South of Main, as well as other local businesses.
Artists and vendors will be onsite at each of the locations offering their crafts. A food court along with a wine and beer garden hosted by Verve Restaurant is part of the festivities. Vendors often use local printing services to Print Business Cards for distribution at public events. The Business Cards contain all of the pertinent contact information should someone wish to make a future purchase.
The Somerville jazz festival will take place at Somerset County Court House Green. It is located in downtown Somerville at the corner of Grove Street and E Main.
