The Verve Restaurant in Somerville will be inviting a line-up of hilarious comedians to perform in January in The Red Room.
Those interested in watching a comedic performance can come to a show headlined by Bonnie McFarlane. In addition to McFarlane, the line-up will include talented performers such as Vishnu Vaka and Daniel Perafan. Danny Braff, the organizer of the event, will also be performing during the comedy show. Attendees who go to the comedy acts must buy at least two menu items during the performances. Venues like this may advertise future line-ups to customers with poster printing.
Bonnie McFarlane is a talented Canadian performer who has appeared on the Tonight Show and The Howard Stern Show. She has also made appearances on series like How To Be A Grownup and Cop Show. McFarlane even took part in a documentary alongside Joan Rivers and Sarah Silverman called Women Aren’t Funny. The comedian has been in many publications, such as Marie Claire Magazine and Paste Magazine.
The comedy show will be held on Thursday, January 6, at 8:00 pm. Doors to the performance will open for patrons at 7:00 pm. The menu will be limited to shared plates and cocktails during the show. Admission to the event costs $25, though guests may also purchase a table for four for $80. Tables for six can also be bought for $120.
