Residents of Somerville are invited to attend the New Jersey Jerk Fest coming up soon in Piscataway. The Caribbean Festival celebrates the popular cuisine across many ethnic segments of the region’s population.
The spicy event offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the jerk dishes prepared by local restaurants and well-known chefs. Pork and chicken dishes are the main food focus, although special treats such as jerk banana ice cream, jerk oxtails, and jerk Lobster will also be part of the culinary lineup.
Food trucks and vendors will be on hand providing authentic and popular temptations. Shopping vendors will also be displaying gifts, crafts, and products for sale.
Vendors can prepare for events like this by arranging business card printing from local printing services. Having Business Cards to distribute increases the chances of creating future business.
The family-friendly festival includes fun activities for children, such as bounce houses. Children under 10 years of age will have free admission.
A beer garden for adults 21 and older whets the whistle with a variety of popular crafts. Live stage acts featuring local performers entertain throughout the day.
The 2020 New Jersey Jerk Fest will take place Saturday, May 23, beginning at 2:00 pm up until 8:00 pm. It is being held at the Arbor Rescue Squad Lot on West 7th Street. Admission is $5.
