Jobseekers in the Somerville area will have an opportunity to attend a career fair this fall. The three-hour event presented by Coast-to-Coast Career Fairs connects professionals with hiring contacts.
Seasoned executives, middle managers, supervisors, and line level people are invited to attend. Hiring personnel from businesses - ranging from small local organizations to Fortune 500 corporations - will be participating in the job fair.
Applicants attending the job fair will have a chance to learn about various companies, their hiring needs, and start dates. Meeting directly with the hiring managers eliminates the need for applying online, and some employers are planning to hire on the spot.
Many of the employers are looking to fill salaried positions. Some of those roles are base salary plus commissions and others are regular pay. Most full-time positions offer health and life insurance, holiday pay, management training and career advancement.
