The New Jersey Z Car Club will be hosting an event in Downtown Somerville this June.
The NJ Z Car Club Somerville Cruise Night is an event that is part of the Somerville Cruise Night Series, where people can check out more than 100 cars of the classic variety. The vehicles represented by the car club include all Datsun and Nissan Z cars, such as the foundation 240Z and the 370Z. The organization was founded in 1996 and is part of the Z Car Club Association. There is no price to join the club, though financial supporters receive a t-shirt.
The current president of the NJ Z Car Club is Bob Calvosa, and the group’s vice president and photographer is Diego Perri. The organization hosts several events around the state in cities such as Bridgewater, Clinton, and Rahway. A few of the club’s upcoming activities this year include Hot Rods & Harleys, Cars & Croissants, and The Car, Truck & Bike Show. Membership in the car organization is not required to attend any of the club’s events.
The Somerville car show will occur on Friday, June 16 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There is no cost to see the classic vehicles, and registration is not required for viewers. Parking at the event will also be free for all guests. Organizations that take part in car shows similar to this may use flyer printing to promote their involvement with the events.
