“These 41 graduates will help fill voids at many driver license offices across North Carolina. These new examiners will span across the state in various offices from Asheville to Wilmington with the one goal of delivering the best customer service of any state agency.”
The DMV explained that it was striving to improve customer service with additional examiners, dedicated road test teams, express lines and by using customer service personnel to assist people in line by checking for the appropriate documents.
Local printing services are equipped to keep private companies as well as government agencies supplied with the numerous documents they require in order to operate.
Basic Examiner Training School involves classroom study lasting five weeks at locations in Huntersville and Rocky Mount. The new graduates will accept applications for driver licenses, learner permits, basic identification cards and REAL ID as well as conduct new driver road tests.
