Caf Refectory open for business

The newly relocated Café Refectory, one of Durham’s iconic eating and meeting places, has opened in its new location on the Durham-Chapel Hill Road. Once a typical, favorite hang-out for students, the café has recently relocated outside of Duke University, meaning that it will be open to a wider public.

Advertising the new location can be accomplished through a wide variety of promotional material. Poster printing hung near the former location can advertise the address of the new location, while flyer printing can be distributed throughout the campus or left at campus stores, cafeterias, and socializing spaces, as well as making effective use of digital Business Cards and business card printing.

Any promotional material in this particular case might include the fact that Café Refectory still retains a campus presence at the University of Duke’s faculty of law. The popular venue was founded seven years ago by Laura Hall as a restaurant geared toward economic, social, and environmental sustainability.

One of the selling points of the business is that it aims to offer the sort of food and dining experience into which a lot of care and preparation time has been invested, yet at the sort of speed one would expect from a fast-food outlet.

Customers will be able to purchase their favorite meals, such as the ever-popular provolone and cheddar grilled cheese sandwich, smoked salmon sandwich with hand-cut fries, or the Indian dal with mixed salad combo. Wraps and salads are also among the café’s lunchtime specialties.
