A concert is planned for the Olivette area for people to enjoy the music of one of the most successful bands of all time.
Vago Park in Maryland Heights, a short distance from Olivette, will host the Abbey Road Warriors for a single performance. Anyone familiar with rock or pop will immediately know what kind of music the band plays, simply from its name – the Abbey Road Warriors are a tribute band of The Beatles.
The Warriors first got together in 2010 to celebrate the music of the iconic English band. Unlike many tribute acts, the band does not try to recreate a Beatles performance by dressing like the group, wearing wigs, or using the same instruments, but instead focuses on the music.

The Warriors are musicians from the St. Louis area, who have played in various local bands, such as The Arrivers, Everyday People, and the Bob Kuban Band. The current membership is comprised of long-time friends Steve Hoover, Mike Ehrhard, Doug Carson, and Jack Miller, who share a common dream – bringing back The Beatles' music to today's audiences. The group has a setlist more than 100 songs long.
The Abbey Road Warriors will be at Vago Park on October 9 at 7pm. Admission is free, but registration is essential. The venue will be observing social distancing and is providing 8'x8' ‘pods’ to maintain attendees' health.
