Olivette will soon be getting the fun rolling with a fundraiser that will celebrate dads by supporting a not-for-profit group focused on families.
For 28 years, the Fathers and Families Support Center (FFSC) has provided assistance and resources to the community, and its Cosmic Bowl for Dads will take to the lanes at Olivette Lanes. It will be a high-energy experience that the organizers hope will put the fun into fundraising, and players of all skill levels are welcome to sign up.
The activity will be illuminated by black light, which will help its neon colors to pop, and this will be paired with music to help keep the excitement levels high. An assortment of drinks and snacks will be on the menu, and everyone can try their luck in the raffle draws. Last year, the function was able to attract 130 supporters and raise more than $10,000 for the cause – a target the organizers are hoping to exceed this year.
