Superstar tenor coming to Olivette area

One of the world's greatest singers is coming to the Olivette area soon.

It is likely that tenor Andrea Bocelli will be greeted with shouts of “Forza Italia!” when he appears in St. Louis later this year to give one performance at the Enterprise Center. Olivette residents will need to make the short trip to the city to see this multi-talented performer.

Bocelli won his first singing competition when he was 14. Since then, he has gone on to release a series of albums that have sold over 19 million Copies in total. He has been recognized for his talents with awards from both the pop and opera worlds, and is a hugely successful crossover artist.

At his concerts, Bocelli is likely to sing arias from popular operas such as Donizetti's “Lucia di Lammermoor,” La Traviata” by Verdi, and Puccini's beloved “Tosca,” and then add hits from Broadway shows, plus Italian standards such as the love theme from “The Godfather” by Nino Rota, and the classic “Funiculi Funiculà.”

Bocelli often invites other artists from the worlds of Broadway, opera, classical music, and dance to be his guests onstage, where they share their gifts as well. A review said:

“Andrea Bocelli was absolutely spectacular! I’m so grateful I was given the opportunity to see him in person. I’ll cherish this forever!!!”

The concert is set for December 3, at 8:00 pm. Poster printing is often successfully used to create publicity for events like this.
