Onesie Crawl to raise charity funds

Olivette residents looking for an unusual event have one they can put on the schedule—a pub crawl.

The STL Onesie Crawl will be held in the Soulard area of St. Louis, a short drive from Olivette, and promises to be both fun and comfortable. Participants are urged to wear their favorite onesie and visit participating venues, where exclusive surprises and specials await. People who would prefer not to wear a onesie are still encouraged to dress up, perhaps wearing their favorite robe and slippers instead. Any attire is welcome.

Tickets include beer and cocktail specials at each establishment taking part in the event, as well as express entry into each venue, without paying a cover charge. There will also be items available that are exclusive to those participating in the crawl. In addition, there are eight different categories of onesies being considered for prizes, and photographers will be walking through the event, snapping photos. Games and contests will be run by the event emcee.

Among the participating bars are Llywelyn's Pub, the International Tap House Soulard, DB's, Great Grizzly Bear, and Social House Soulard, with more to be added later.

The crawl is a fundraiser for two charities, Kids Rock Cancer, and Alec Ingram's Fight With Cancer, and is set for January 11. Check-in is between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm at Social House Soulard. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts for participants in events like this.
