Olivette welcomes fall with a festival

As long, hot summer days turn to the cooler weather of autumn, Olivette residents are getting ready to enjoy the changing seasons with the 4th annual Olivette On the Go festival.

According to a posting on the city’s website, the festival is slated for Stacy Park, and is sure to be fun for everyone.

Events planned include rides that are suitable for people in all age groups, as well as a food court at which a selection of St. Louis restaurateurs will serve a variety of food to appeal to a wide range of palates. Beverages including wine, margaritas, beer, water, and soft drinks will be available, and there is live music planned as well. Organizers ask that attendees do not bring in outside food or drink, but support the vendors instead.

Stacy Park is a 35-acre park that features playgrounds, a pavilion, ball fields, barbeque pits, restrooms, and a fitness path of one kilometer in length. Olivette On the Go is held here each year.

Festival organizers could work with banner printers to create colorful Banners to hang throughout the venue. Made of tough material, they are suitable for outside events and their dynamic movement adds excitement to the day.

Olivette On the Go will be held September 26, 27 and 28 at Stacy Park, 9750 Old Bonhomme Road in Olivette. For complete information about this community fun fair, see the Olivette On the Go website.
