City officials recently announced that Sergeant Elizabeth M. Andreski will take over the post of Deputy Police Chief of the Olivette Police Department.
Andreski joined the Olivette Police Department in 2005, and began her career in law enforcement with the department she still serves. During her 14 years in Olivette, she has been a patrol officer, patrol sergeant, and detective, and has matched up team members with specific projects that enable them to develop their abilities, skills, and knowledge.
Andreski was graduated from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and went on to Lindenwood University, where she earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. She is also a graduate of the Medicolegal Death Investigator Program at St. Louis University, where she received a certificate in Forensic Science as well.
The Olivette Police Department awarded her the Chief’s Commendation in 2005, and in 2014, she again received a Letter of Commendation. Andreski has been an investigator with the St. Louis Area Major Case Squad since 2010, and the Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri conferred the John J. McAtee Award on her in 2018.
Sergeant Andreski takes up her duties on July 1. In situations like this, Letterheads are often created to reflect the new position, as well as police identity cards.
