Olivette Pirtek franchise has new owner

The new franchisee of Pirtek St. Louis and Pirtek Overland has made changes to the Olivette operation, staffing it with International Union of Operating Engineers Local 513 members.

Jared Gross, who has taken over the business both at the Service & Supply Center in Olivette, and the St. Louis mobile-only operation, says that affiliating with the union will help Pirtek obtain construction jobs in the St. Louis area, a $6 billion market. Having union employees in the company will allow Pirtek to work on union job sites, where the company's experts will repair bulldozers, cranes, or other heavy equipment.

Pirtek is a unique franchise, the only one in the United States specializing in servicing industrial and hydraulic hoses. Currently, it has 81 locations, staffed with experts who are available 24/7. They operate Mobile Service Vehicles that allow them to go to a job site to repair hoses on the scene. In total, there are 400 Pirtek franchises throughout the world, in 23 different countries.

Gross sees a bright future for construction in St. Louis, with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, as well as Amazon, building facilities in the area. Pirtek's policy is to offer customers an ETA of one hour, and then repair the equipment without the customers having to leave the job.

Changes like this can be highlighted if a company uses brochure printing to create informative materials for customers.
