A musical series will be taking place at the Grandel Theater, called Spells of the Sea.
Special Arrangement alongside Megan Ann Rasmussen Productions will be putting on this world premiere event. The musical tells a story of a 15-year-old novice fisherwoman called Finley Frankfurter. Also involved is a lighthouse keeper with an unsavory temperament who has been in a lighthouse for 20 years. Though different personalities, the two individuals embark on an adventure to locate an elixir to save the life of Finley’s father. As they venture, they encounter pirates, whirlpools and other obstacles. Their adventures will also provide life lessons in areas such as family and friendship.
The lyrics, music, and book are created by Guinevere Govea alongside Anna Pickett, who is an additional creative contributor. This unique tale was initially created and developed by Govea and Pickett during the pandemic.
Ticket prices for this event are $36 or $25 per adult (for premium or standard seating, respectively), and $28 or $20 per child. The event is suitable for individuals eight years old and up. For additional information on seating and pricing, visit the Metrotix website.
