What's Happening in Olivette, MO…

Olivette residents who are interested in making connections and learning a bit about a new way to think might want to head on over to St. Louis soon for the Treehouse Networkshop event, ‘Paradigm Shift’.

The event will take place at Moonbase Market, a new event venue and game shop specializing in video games and tabletop games. Earthbound Beer will provide a drink to each ticket holder, who will also receive something special from Treehouse Networkship.

The highlight of the evening will be a talk by Wesley Hoffman, whose subject is ‘Paradigm Shift’. In simple terms, a paradigm shift is a transformation in the way people perceive things, including the environment, other people, events, or life itself. One example of such a shift occurred during the 1960s, when many young people began to rebel against authority and protest the Vietnam War, eventually contributing to the United States’ decision pulling its troops out of Southeast Asia.

Hoffman's talk is designed to get listeners discussing relationships, love, life, and human potential. This is one of the few Treehouse events scheduled for 2018.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Moonbase Market is located in St. Louis, on South 9th Street.
