Memorial golf tournament raises money in Olivette
A memorial golf tournament is being planned for the Olivette area next month, with golfers from the surrounding area invited to dust off their clubs and register.
The 3rd Annual Kendall Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament will help raise money for the Kendall Johnson Foundation, which aims to act as a beacon of hope for families in the greater St. Louis area who have lost a child. Parents can rely on the money for support when experiencing a challenging and traumatic time.
The foundation also provides meals, financial assistance, and grief counseling to affected families. Interested parties can contribute to the Foundation’s fundraising goals through the golf tournament in several ways. Volunteers are welcome, and they can register by contacting Christie Whitaker at (702) 205-8819. Banner printing is an excellent way to spread awareness of the tournament while providing advertising space for event sponsors.
Other options to support the cause include sponsoring a hole, making a donation, or gathering a group of friends to compete in the tournament through a four-person scramble. A live auction and dinner will conclude the event for participants wanting to support a good cause.
Tapawingo Golf Course will host the memorial golf tournament on Sunday, August 11. Golfers will tee off at 11:00 AM. Dinner tickets cost $25, and foursome tickets start at $500. Reservations can be made online.
