Aspiring actors and entertainers should create space in the calendar next month, as a successful Hollywood actor has scheduled an event to discuss his memoir.
Billy Dee Williams is making a stop in Olivette in a few weeks to discuss his memoir, “What Have We Here?: Portraits of a Life.” The event is part of the St. Louis County Library’s Black History Celebration, and it is an opportunity for area residents to learn more about what drove Williams to have a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Williams will share tips and advice on what sustained him as he overcame adversity to build a successful career. The actor will share information and insight on his role as an Emmy nominee in “Brian’s Song” and the popularity gained through the Star Wars series.
