Olivette residents with a fondness for Disney have a chance to take their children to watch as a variety of beloved characters cavort on ice at the Chaifetz Arena later this year.
Tickets are available now at a discount for the show, which is built around themes from the various Disney films. To honor ‘Alice in Wonderland’, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy will celebrate an ‘Unbirthday Party’ with the Mad Hatter and Alice. A number of Disney princesses, including Cinderella, Tiana, Belle, and Ariel will take part in a Valentine's Day Ball, while Lilo & Stitch throw a Hawaiian luau.
Aladdin and Jasmine from ‘Aladdin’ will be there with songs from the film. Jessie, Woody, and Buzz Lightyear from the ‘Toy Story’ films will play in a winter wonderland, and the Disney villains will join in a celebration centered on Halloween. There will be a number of other skits based on celebrations, holidays, and festivities from countries around the world.
The Chaifetz Arena is in St. Louis, about 12 miles from Olivette. The “Let's Celebrate!” Disney spectacular is suitable for people of all ages, and the show runs September 24 through 27.
Arena officials could work with a local poster printing company to create eye-catching items to put up throughout the area, advertising the show.
