What's Happening in Olivette, MO…

Author event provides exclusive access near Olivette

An acclaimed author is planning a visit to the Olivette area soon to promote her latest book, meet with fans, and answer questions.

V.E. Schwab will be providing a fun evening for reading enthusiasts, fans, and other interested parties. They will get to meet the New York Times best-selling author and learn more about her works. The event is being organized by The Novel Neighbor, an organization that provides space for book clubs, author events, and classes.

The author's meet-and-greet will allow Schwab to discuss Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil. The event's format will feature a 45-minute conversation with Schwab before moving into a 45-minute question-and-answer session.

Schwab’s new book explores the ideas of immortality and hunger, and ties three young women and their burial sites together, with their stories tangling together like roots. It follows other literary successes like the City of Ghosts series, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and The Fragile Threads of Power. Printing services are an excellent way to promote and complement such events to reach a broad audience.

All attendees will receive a first-edition copy of the book with the registration costs. The author session will be held at the John Burroughs School in nearby Ladue on Wednesday, June 11, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Tickets cost $37.14 per attendee online.
