Asian New Year Celebration to be held near Olivette
Olivette residents who want to experience a new culture and dive into New Year celebrations will feel lucky, as an event is being organized nearby.
The ‘A Very Asian Lunar New Year Exhibition and Fundraiser’ is coming to town next month, allowing Olivette residents to learn about and experience Asian cuisine and culture. The gathering is being planned and organized with help from the Duane Reed Gallery and will include a lunch, panel discussion, and art show.
The event will focus on and recognize the works of art completed by nationally and internationally recognized Asian-American artists. Interested parties can visit the event’s page online to learn more about the artists who will attend the event and showcase their works.
Brochure printing is an effective tool for sharing information about the artists and their pieces at such cultural celebrations.
Attendees will be treated to a savory lunch provided by the Saint Louis Asian American businesses. The discussion panel will begin after lunch, where local leaders will discuss representation and its importance within the creative industry with artists. The proceeds from the event will go to the Very Asian Foundation.
The celebrations will be held at the MICDS Messing Gallery in nearby St. Louis on Saturday, February 1, starting at 12:30 PM and ending at 2:30 PM. Interested parties can buy tickets online for $25 each.
