The St. Paul Classic Bike Tour 2023 will take place next month to provide a fun biking activity for the community and raise money for the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota.
The St. Paul Classic Bike Tour offers a chance for cyclists of all levels and ages to enjoy biking through the beautiful and historic Grand Round, a Silver-Level Bicycle-Friendly Community, and other various paved trails and protected bike lanes. The Classic portion of the tour will be either 31 or 34 miles depending on route chosen and will include three rest stops, including a new stop at the scenic Pickerel Lake. The short route, 14 miles of trails, will feature a Lollipop Loop to Lake Phalen and back to the Como Lakeside Pavilion. The routes will all be supported by swag wagons, police escorts, and bicycle mechanics to ensure riders safety.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards supporting the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota, which works to make bicycling safe, fun, and accessible. Registration fees are nonrefundable, and there will be no day-of registration. Included in the fee will be a T-shirt with the event Logo Design on it.
The bike tour is scheduled for September 10 from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. The starting location will be at the Como Lakeside Pavilion, located at 1360 Lexington Parkway, North Saint Paul. Registration fees range from $20 to $52.
