St. Paul to begin summer in grand fashion

The Grand Avenue area of St. Paul will be hosting its traditional Grand Old Day celebration this June, kicking off summer with a bevy of events.

The day will kick off with the Grand Old Day Fun Run, with participants running a 5-kilometre distance down Grand Avenue. Kids can also participate as part of a half-mile run. This will be followed by a parade featuring bands and community groups. The festival area will be open all morning and afternoon, with artists, food trucks, nonprofit organizations, recreational groups, and other vendors all represented. Exhibitors at events like this often offer special Promotional Products and items to help make better connections with the community.

The festival area will also feature a car show full of classic and custom vehicles, and a Family Fun Zone with activities for younger visitors. Local Dachshund owners will guide their dogs through a noontime Wiener Dog Race. One of the major attractions will be live music, with six stages hosting dozens of bands throughout the day. Headlining artists include The Cactus Blossoms, Them Coville Boys, The Ashley DuBose. Each stage will feature a different theme or genre of music, such as the Nothing But Canna Stage featuring reggae music, and the School of Rock Stage featuring student bands.

The 2025 Grand Old Day event will take place on June 1 on Grand Avenue in St. Paul.
