The 2024 Minnesota Watersheds Legislative Event will take place in St. Paul next month to build relationships with legislators and advance watershed legislation.
The Legislative Event provides Minnesota Watersheds members with a valuable opportunity to meet with important figures and legislators that can help further the mission of the organization, the most important of which is to regulate, conserve, and control the use of water in the various watershed districts.
The two-day conference will begin with a Welcome and Announcements session from Jan Voit, Minnesota Watersheds Executive Director. Then there will be the Minnesota Association of Watershed Administrators’ meeting, agency updates, and a legislative briefing. The first day will end with a legislative reception to which formal Invitations were sent out to all relevant legislators asking for their attendance. This reception will include a cash bar and light appetizers. The second day will feature a networking session and buffet breakfast at the Capitol Ridge Hotel.

The Minnesota Watersheds Legislative Event will take place on Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7 at Capitol Ridge located at 161 Saint Anthony Avenue. Tickets are $120 per person for the two days.
