Musician Tom Harkness is scheduled to play a show in Rochester, Minnesota in late May.
Harkness plays both trumpet and guitar, in addition to song writing and singing. He works with multiple bands and collaborates with regional musicians, playing a variety of shows and festivals. He enjoys blues music in addition to other styles that can be traced back to New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is a part of The Swamp Kings Band and The Johnny Mac Blues Band, as well as the creator of The Tom Harkness Project, which allows him to play with regional musicians.
The show set for Rochester is going to be played at the Kinney Creek Brewery, a venue at which Harkness has played before. This is a locally owned space that also serves as a microbrewery. The venue has craft beer and hard seltzer, both served in containers with the company Logo Design on them. It does not serve food, but attendees are allowed to bring in or order food to the location.
Due to the pandemic, it is likely that this show will be outside, or indoors at a less than full capacity. Parking has temporarily moved behind the venue, with outdoor seating out front.
The event is set for May 22, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The brewery is located at 1016 7th Street.
