The 12th Annual Paws and Claws Wine Tasting is an opportunity to enjoy a variety of popular vintages while raising money to help homeless animals.
The event will include not only wine, but other beverages courtesy of Andy’s liquor. There will be food, conversation, and a silent auction. The auction will occur throughout the night with many desirable items available. Up for bid will be the likes of wine, liquor, pet products, and Gift Certificates.
The event helps to support the efforts of the Paws and Claws Humane Society. The shelter has been in operation since 1976. In 2018, it helped 1,300 animals find permanent homes. Anyone that wants to contribute can donate directly to the group through the donation page on their website.
The shelter also visits local Print shops regularly to keep their Paws and Claws T-Shirts stocked. The shirts are also for sale on their website.
The Paws and Claws Wine Tasting will take place on April 5 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The event will occur at the Rochester Athletic Club at 3100 19th St NW in Rochester. The ticket cost is $30 each and become available on March 15. Visit the Paws and Claws shelter at 3224 19th Street NW to buy tickets or pick them up at the door on the night of the event.
