Rochester to serve as venue for magical experience

The city of Rochester will be the backdrop for a thrilling adventure for residents in early July.

The Beauty and the Beast game is an event created by CluedUpp Games. The activity brings together a scavenger hunt and the puzzles of an escape room to create an exciting experience for all participants. The story for this adventure is based on the 18th-century version of Beauty and the Beast. The goal for the attendees is to help the princess, Beauty, break a curse by completing all tasks and finding all the clues before it is too late.

The game is played in teams. There can be between two and six adult participants in each group. There is no limit for how many children can participate in a team, with their also being no cost for their attendance. The ticket price covers the adults, with one ticket needed for each group.

Teams can begin their journey at any point after 9:00am and before 2:00pm. Typically, it will take about two or three hours to finish. There will be more than 20 spots to visit over the course of the story. Prizes will be passed out in five different categories, two of which are Fastest Team and Best Dressed. Spots can be reserved through CluedUpp’s website, with a price tag of $80. For events like this, signage is often created using the Logo Design of the activity in order to make the participating venues easier to find.

The Beauty and the Beast game will be played on July 1st.
