A mid April event is providing Rochester locals a chance to celebrate the spaces and themes in pop culture that they love.
Nerdinout Con is a local comic con for the Rochester area. The event provides an environment that aims to include people from all sorts of fandoms from every corner of media. This can include realms like television, comics, Books, movies, anime, card games, video games, and wrestling.
Artists, authors, crafters, and vendors will fill up a shopping area. Guests can also find tournaments for the popular card game Magic the Gathering, an arcade zone, and meetings with celebrities.
The celebrity guests include the likes of The Dudley Boyz, Deep Roy, Leilani Shiu, Rob Lamb, Tracy Lynn Cruz, David Howard Thornton, and Amanda Bearse. Signatures and photos from these special guests have varying costs, depending on who the guest is and which item is being purchased. These are separate from admission, and available for purchase on the event’s website.
Tickets are available through Nerdinout Con’s website as well. Kids have a weekend pass option for $5. This applies up to age 13. Adults have individual day tickets for $15 for day one and $10 for day two, as well as a weekend pass for $25. A VIP option is available for $75. This covers both days and offers additional perks.
The venue is the Graham Arena. Many vendors attending conventions choose to make some Business Cards to hand out to guests. The Rochester convention will be open from 11:00am to 7:00pm on April 12th, and 11:00am to 4:00pm on April 13th.
