StriveTogether Cradle to Career will be hosting its first Community Report Card in Rochester this month.
Cradle to Career is a nonprofit organization that strives to improve educational outcomes by bridging schools and businesses together. Currently, it has a network of a total of 70 partnerships, and over 10 million students nationwide use its services. StriveTogether is dedicated to bringing together communities, businesses, and individuals who are committed to improving the American education system.
The event in Rochester is likely to include graphic design as it will involve sharing data of Rochester’s communal progress up to this point. The event will focus mainly on increasing educational outcomes to motivate better individual and community success, and address the gap in the local workforce area.
A summit group representing various businesses, education partners, service clubs, government, and philanthropy groups will be presenting its plans and recommendations for improvements. The current Leadership Table was shared to the Rochester community on February 22, so the upcoming Report Card meeting offers an update on the plans, a report on progress up to this point, and the next steps.
The Community Report Card is scheduled for October 16 from 7:00 am to 9:00 am at the RCTC Hill Theatre. It is free of charge to attend, and Rochester residents are invited to join the meeting. Coffee will be served.
